As Australian Lawyers, we are in a unique position to help individuals, groups and organizations with their legal problems and progress complex matters to a timely conclusion.
A dynamic, rapidly-changing legislative environment, characterised by increased industry segmentation and specialisation has led to a broad array of sub-specialties. We practice in a range of areas from bread-and-butter practices such as conveyancing, employment law and civil litigation to niche areas such as property and building law and intellectual property strategies.
In January 2012, Jacka Lawyers converted from sole practice to incorporated legal practice to form one team under the Jacka Lawyers brand. We advise small business, corporates and individuals, and our core businesses are in property, leasing, building, business contracting, restructuring and litigation.
Our experience is thorough, but always evolving to meet the demands of industry and government regulation and is demonstrated through high standards of professionalism, an ethical approach to business and enthusiastic participation in industry.
As a firm invested in high standards of legal practice and maintaining currency in the legal environment, we’re proud to be a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV).
The LIV plays a pivotal role in the recognition, development and support of the legal services industry in Victoria. Legal work is really about problem solving and this is something we do every day. The effectiveness of problem solving is not determined by what we know, but about how we react and deal with problems when the heat is on, how we approach project management and how we manage relationships with members of our ‘team’.
Our approach to problem solving goes further than applying a Band-Aid – imparting knowledge is integral to our relationship with clients, fundamentally important to maintaining the momentum and progress of a case and a key strength of our firm. We strive to build our clients’ knowledge base and work intelligently to overcome barriers, plan a course of action and realise goals.
